How has your organization adapted during Covid times?
The Biggest thing we learned is that health disparities were even more exposed during Covid, and how we can use our solution to bridge some of those gaps. We are doubling down on features that can support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion particularly related to gender, language barriers, Socioeconomic Status and education level.
How do you think health care stakeholders can bring care closer to consumers/patients?
By empowering individuals to take charge of their health. Solutions that provide meaningful insights, tools and resources that support empowerment are critical.
How have you helped your employees manage stress caused by the pandemic?
First and foremost recognition that everyone is dealing with this as a constant background stressor and being cognizant of that. Also, trying to reduce meetings, meeting length and reinforcing "video optional" on calls in addition to high promotion of mental health resources as part of our health care ecosystem.
In your opinion, how can employers best engage their employees in their health and well-being, especially during the pandemic when a majority of the workforce is remote?
Offering digital solutions that can reach people anywhere, anytime. If there is any silver lining to Covid, it is that it forced individuals to get more comfortable with technology to engage in healthcare and health solutions remotely. Pandemic aside, this has been a barrier that needed to be solved for many employers who have multiple sites across the US, workers who travel often and telecommuters.
What does health care disruption mean to you?
It means opportunity to make meaningful change and develop solutions that work. The US healthcare is been broken and with 60% of Americans getting their insurance through employers, employers are in the prime position to enact change and disrupt the status quo.
